A: I don't know! Am I not good enough for you?

Q: Thats what i was thinking about you guys progressing it sounds good. What was the most difficult album to right and why?
A: Shipwreck was the most involved I'd say. Just with the whole concept thing it was like an extra step in there and a lot of back and forth.

Q: How much time you spend at your own house? always on tour and with friends. Do you really have time for yourself?
A: No it's rare. I enjoy a nice sit down with a guitar, a beer, the ballgame, and some good takeout. My perfect evening.

A: That's like picking a favorite child. Combining both lyrics AND music I really like Born Dead, Call It Karma, and Worlds Apart.

A: It always changes for me. We bring in a song we haven't played in awhile, get stoked on it, then after a month or 2 bring in another one. We like variety. I'd say Replace You I really enjoy because I get to play some guitar on it, and also Ides of March. Fun song!

Q: Wow, you are my heroes. How did you all meet and form a band?
A: We were all playing in local bands around the West Suburbs of Toronto. Josh and our old guitar player Richard went to high school together and decided to form a band a bit of a different style from what everyone else in the area was doing. I had known Josh from his old band playing with my old band and I answered a message board post about them looking for a singer. Later Paul joined and Bill joined. Neil replaced Richard after he left the band to go to school. Here we are!

A: Replace You is fun live, a lot of dynamics. I like playing with heavier and softer bands. I don't like being the heaviest or the softest.

A: Replace You, Call It Karma, My Heroine because they have a lot of meaning.

A: To be honest when we made Shipwreck I felt like that really took us to the next level musically creatively and personally.

Q: At what age did you start writing songs/lyrics? and what motivates you to keep writing?
A: Wrote my first song when I was about 11. I can be motivated by music I come up with to write lyrics, or I can be motivated to write music by things that go on in my life and words I write. It's circular like that

A: It was in a church. I was really nervous. We had a good crowd and people actually liked us. And then the priest of the church made a speech which was kind of awkward.

A: Haha I did tonight actually. They just said my name and waved in the parking lot. I waved back. They were sweet.
